Made for hardening freshly produced ice cream, the SAGI HPC101L blast-freezes 30 kg per cycle from −9 °C to −18 °C at the core in 70/90 minutes. Four 60 × 40 cm shelves on four pairs of runners take 12 containers of 36 × 16.5 × 12 cm or eight of 36 × 25 × 12 cm.
At the wider spacing they take 12 carapines Ø 20 × 25 cm. Soft and hard blast-freezing run by time or by the single-point core probe, with precooling to −25 °C, and the unit switches to storage automatically when the cycle ends. The AISI 304 cabinet has a one-piece interior with rounded corners, a diamond-treated bottom with drain hole and a ten-chamber magnetic door gasket.
The electronic board with segment display has an RS485 port; remote control via the APOLINK portal needs the optional APOLINK accessory. The air-cooled condensing unit is built in, with a refrigerating capacity of 1317 + 1317 W at −23.3 °C and R290 (0.15 + 0.15 kg).
Energy use is 0.08 kWh/kg for chilling and 0.25 kWh/kg for freezing. Dimensions 800 × 930 × 1860 mm on feet of 102–164 mm, 200 kg net, 400 V 3N~ supply, 2300 W.
