To stop the fish drying out it is kept in trays with flake ice and little or no air movement, while the right temperature limits microbial growth and reduces waste from poor storage. Cooling is static, with the evaporator built into the cabinet walls.
The six plastic containers (410 × 480 mm, 140 mm high) have stainless-steel double bottoms that let liquid drain away, and an internal drain leads to an external collection tray. Defrost is manual; the electronic touch-screen control panel has a HACCP alarm. Rounded corners and racks that lift out without tools keep cleaning simple.
Temperature −5…+5 °C, gross volume 291 litres, climate class 5, refrigerant R290, refrigerating capacity 320 W. Insulation is 50 mm of high-density polyurethane. Dimensions 600 × 660 × 1570 mm, net weight 93 kg, electrical power 230 W at 230 V.
