Blast chiller/freezer BBC-10

The Asber BBC-10 is a ten-level blast chiller and shock freezer that processes up to 50 kg of food for chilling or 30 kg for freezing in one cycle. Climate class 5 means it is rated for rooms reaching +40 °C. A chilling cycle from +65 °C to +3 °C takes 90 minutes and a freezing cycle from +65 °C to −18 °C takes 240 minutes.

Cycles are controlled electronically by time or by the core probe reading, and the unit switches to holding mode at the end. The door has a full-length integrated handle, and rounded inner corners make cleaning easier. Trays and GN 1/1 pans sit 65 mm apart, insulation is 60 mm polyurethane foam and the condenser is fan-cooled.
